Teethan Occlusal Assessment

The TEETHAN occlusal assessment was developed by a team of Italian dentists in Milan, based on 20 years of research, to measure dental occlusion balance in a simple, fast, and non-invasive way.

Thanks to two sensors placed on the temples to measure the pressure of the temporal muscles, and two other sensors placed on the jaws to measure the pressure of the Masseter muscles, we can identify occlusal imbalances.

Types of Examinations

  • Static: After placing saliva rolls between the molars, the patient must clench their teeth for 5 seconds, and then the same test will be performed without the saliva rolls.
  • Dynamic: Using a piece of chewing gum, the patient will be asked to chew it to measure and evaluate neuromuscular coordination.
